About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Labourer to join our team at Canada Roofing & Renos. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons in various roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload construction materials, including roofing supplies, from vehicles and equipment.
  • Site Preparation: Remove rubble and debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Material Cutting and Preparation: Cut materials using power tools or by hand, as required for roofing projects.
  • Assisting Skilled Tradespersons: Provide support to skilled tradespersons, such as roofers, carpenters, and other construction professionals.
Work Environment

As a Roofing Labourer, you will work outdoors in various locations, including urban and rural areas. You will be exposed to noise, heights, and physically demanding conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work under pressure, lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English, and you must be legally able to work in Canada.
