Job Description

The Food Service Manager (Culinary) will be responsible for:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to drive business results;
  • Developing and implementing process improvements;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement;
  • Maintaining superior product and service quality standards;
  • Inspecting kitchen equipment and appliances for needed repairs or maintenance;

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume dining and catering environments;
  • A diploma in food services management training or equivalent culinary certificate;
  • Red Seal certification or comparable Advanced Food Safety/HACCP training;
  • Recent experience as an executive chef or sous chef;
  • Broad and thorough knowledge of food and cooking techniques;
  • Excellent managerial skills;
  • Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets;
