We are seeking an experienced Family Medicine Specialist or General Practitioner to join our team at Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake. CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital with 28 inpatient beds and offers ER, OR, Med-Surg, and Obstetrical units. The hospital also features lab and diagnostic imaging, as well as an outpatient Hemodialysis Unit operated on-site.
As a Family Medicine Specialist or General Practitioner, you will be part of a collegial anesthesia team, practicing GP Anesthesia 1-5 days a week, with 1:4 or 1:5 nights of call/weekends depending on the department size. You will work closely with surgeons, obstetricians, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. Experience is an asset, but we are willing to mentor new graduates.
The successful candidate will enjoy a highly collaborative and interactive medical setting, with opportunities to educate medical students and family practice residents. There is also the potential to have a part-time Family Practice office, participate in Emergency Room duties, join our local Long-term Care Group, or contribute to our GP Oncology group.
In addition to a competitive salary, you may be eligible for additional remuneration through Interior Health's Alternative Payment Plan and MOCAP contract.
