Job Title: Mason

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at BS-1 MASONRY LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to masonry, including laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical demands of the job include handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
