About the Role

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of legal concepts and trends to ensure accuracy and relevance of our content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key legal issues and develop editorial strategies.
  • Review and edit legal information created by other employees, authors, and freelancers to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal developments and trends to provide expert analysis and insights.
  • Work closely with our research team to identify and develop new content opportunities.
  • Participate in the development of editorial policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across our publications.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Editor who possesses a strong background in law and a passion for creating high-quality content. Your ideal candidate will have:

  • A JD degree and admission to a provincial bar.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex legal information.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working with legal research tools, such as Westlaw.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
