Amba Welding Ltd is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in various industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and coordinate materials, tools, and personnel to ensure efficient project completion.
- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
- Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment to ensure system functionality.
- Test systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment to ensure safety and quality.
- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings, and flush systems to prevent corrosion and damage.
- Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems to meet project requirements.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size to ensure precise fitment.
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Select the type and size of pipe required to meet project specifications.
- Test systems for leaks using testing equipment to ensure quality and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
- Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification.
- Permanent work term.
- English language proficiency.
- 35 hours per week.
