About This Opportunity

Swiss Chalet & Harvey's - Bracebridge is seeking a skilled Business Leadership Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and formulating policies to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure smooth operations.
Accountabilities
  • Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs that align with business goals.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
Additional Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for this role.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Team Player: A team player attitude is crucial for success in this position.
