Job Overview

Azimuth Environmental Consulting seeks an experienced professional to lead our contaminant hydrogeology practice. This individual will champion the discipline, drive business development, and excel in technical leadership.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a senior contaminant hydrogeologist or environmental engineer with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and proven business development capabilities.
Responsibilities
  1. Prepare technically accurate project proposals, reports, and specifications as a Qualified Person;
  2. Manage projects, including site assessments and remediation programs, with expertise in environmental regulations;
  3. Review discipline works and serve as a contaminant hydrogeology expert on multi-disciplinary projects;
  4. Identify markets, attend industry events, and contribute to business development as a technical resource;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution, plus continuing education in contaminant hydrogeology or groundwater engineering;
  • Registered professional practitioner in Ontario (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo.);
  • 5-10+ years of experience in contaminant hydrogeology work;
  • Established QP under MECP designation;
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements in Ontario;
  • Strong communication and editing skills;
  • Supervisory and project management experience required;

  • Technical expertise in contaminant hydrogeology;
  • Proven business development capabilities;
  • Mentoring and staff development skills;
Salary Range

$75,000 - $120,000 per year
