Job Summary:

Mt. St. Mary Hospital, a leading healthcare facility, is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for assessing residents and developing personalized rehabilitation plans to support their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their rehabilitation needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Provide staff education and training on rehabilitation techniques and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
  • Previous experience in long-term care is preferred.
