About the Position

Brand Momentum is seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to work independently at one retail location, approximately 21 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and have an eye for detail.

About You

You will be responsible for performing merchandising tasks, maintaining sections, addressing out-of-stock issues, and securing additional displays. You will also be responsible for cleaning sections, replacing and repairing fixtures, and placing product orders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform merchandising tasks at one retail store
  • Maintain sections, including proper rotation, restocking, and ensuring distribution of all products
  • Address and order any out-of-stock issues
  • Secure additional/incremental off-shelf displays
  • Clean sections, ensuring equipment meets food safety requirements
  • Replace and/or repair fixtures as required and place POP materials, including shelf tags and signage
  • Place product orders and work with suppliers to ensure orders are placed
  • Promote special buying opportunities, displays, and new products
  • Perform any necessary POG changes and make recommendations to maximize sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department personnel and store management
  • Submit daily required visit reports/call reports

Qualifications and Requirements

You must have a smartphone and access to the internet. Previous merchandising experience is an asset, but not a requirement. Your home location should be within 10 KM of the retail store.
