Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Optimization Specialist to join our team at Studyincanada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient plant layouts and facilities to maximize production capacity and minimize costs;
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to existing machinery and facilities to enhance productivity and efficiency;
  • Develop and implement flexible manufacturing systems and procedures to meet changing production demands;
  • Conduct studies to determine optimal inventory levels and ensure efficient use of resources;
  • Analyze production costs and develop strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality;
  • Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs to improve efficiency and productivity;
  • Determine human resource and skill requirements and develop training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively;
  • Develop performance standards, evaluation systems, and wage and incentive programs to motivate employees and promote excellence;
  • Conduct reliability and performance studies of plant facilities and production or administrative systems to identify areas for improvement;
  • Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure equipment is properly maintained and running efficiently;
  • Establish programs to enhance industrial health and safety and identify and correct potential hazards;
  • Evaluate and assess industrial facilities to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency and effectiveness.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing optimization or a related field;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.
