Compensation Analyst for Performance Incentives

At goeasy, we're seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Compensation Analyst for Performance Incentives. This exciting role will be responsible for tracking and reporting on employee performance, supporting target setting, and monitoring the overall health of incentive plans.

About the Role

In this newly created position, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our incentive plans are functioning as intended, with payout levels within the target range and equity across all plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan Health Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of our incentive plans, identifying trends, issues, or areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to align incentive strategies with overall business objectives, communicating findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Performance Data Management: Consolidate and track monthly performance data from various sources, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, working closely with data providers and internal stakeholders to ensure performance data is objective, accurate, and aligned with our organization's standards.
  • Incentive Calculations: Perform accurate and timely calculations of monthly bonuses and incentives based on performance metrics, validating the accuracy of all incentive payments and ensuring they align with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years in a similar role; experience with sales and collections practices would be an asset.
  • Expertise: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL queries.
  • Skillset: Analytical skills, ability to identify problem areas and propose solutions, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and change management skills, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines, ability to work under pressure and react quickly.
  • Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent job experience.
