About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team at Aloe Beauty by DMB. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair according to their preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment, including shampooing and conditioning
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties and maintain and order supplies
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
