Job Title: Medical Clinic Assistant - Patient Care Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Assistant to join our team at Tamarack Physiotherapy and Massage Ltd. As a Medical Clinic Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks
- Set up and dismantle equipment as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a smooth clinic operation
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies to prevent stockouts
- Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Process files and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients
- Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
