About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Pure Life Physiotherapy & Health Centre. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Administer tests and assessments to patients, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
    • Develop and implement treatment plans to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
  • Support and Assistance
    • Assist health care professionals with patient care and treatment
    • Supervise technical and support staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety
  • Administrative and Clinical Tasks
    • Process claims and maintain accurate records
    • Conduct research in physiotherapy to stay up-to-date with best practices
    • Perform general clerical duties, including scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
    • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain accurate records
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word
