G Bhullar Renovation Inc. is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Plasterer to work on various projects, including residential and commercial buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound, sanding seams and joints, and finishing corners and angles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plastering work
  • Apply coats of plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth finish
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to prevent cracking
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts, and estimate costs and materials
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands. A valid work permit and ability to work in a team environment are essential.
