We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at PERFECT INSTALLERS & CONTRACTORS LTD.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface. This will involve cleaning and preparing surfaces, curing freshly plastered surfaces, and finishing corners and angles as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plastering techniques and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be able to estimate costs and materials accurately and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface
- Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
- Cure freshly plastered surfaces
- Finish corners and angles as required
- Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- Estimate costs and materials accurately
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Physically demanding work environment
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
