About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drafting Technologist to join our team at ADG Sota Structures Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with our engineers and production specialists to ensure accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using CAD software
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Supervise and train junior drafting personnel
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and construction specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with clients and engineers to establish product requirements
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 1-7 months of experience in drafting or a related field
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 30-40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment
