Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation and CPOE Specialist to join our team at Global Pharma Tek. As a CPOE Orders Builder, you will be responsible for designing and building CPOE Orders for Day of Treatment in Ambulatory and Acute care within Cerner. This role requires recent and relevant experience in configuring and testing Day of Treatment plans, complex CPOE workflows, and ambulatory specific laboratory workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build CPOE Orders for Day of Treatment in Ambulatory and Acute care within Cerner
• Configure and test Day of Treatment plans, complex CPOE workflows, and ambulatory specific laboratory workflows
• Collaborate with design and informatics teams to execute deliverables
• Develop and complete DCWs and custom requirement gathering documentation
• Work with and develop custom CPOE designs for workflow mapping and functional design
• Communicate effectively with clinical audiences and facilitate meetings
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient use of Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Requirements:

• Recent and relevant experience in configuring and testing Day of Treatment plans, complex CPOE workflows, and ambulatory specific laboratory workflows
• Strong competencies with Cerner Power Chart functionality for orders, order sets, mPages, and clinical documentation
• Excellent skills in configuration and testing of Day of Treatment plans, complex CPOE workflows, and ambulatory specific laboratory workflows
• Experience with CCLs and reporting considered an asset
• Ability to work with and develop/complete DCWs as well as custom requirement gathering documentation
• Proficient use of Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
