About the Role

The project manager contributes to the effective management of various planning and execution stages of a project by ensuring rigorous task tracking, coordinating and communicating between different teams, and assisting in problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all planning discussions while ensuring clear communication and understanding of game design and process/deliverable development;
  • Manage JIRA and Confluence tasks;
  • Promote clear communication channels between areas of expertise;
  • Lead the team in daily activities such as removing encountered obstacles and resolving general issues;
  • Guide the team in achieving high-level product delivery milestones within scheduled timeframes while tracking stakeholder expectations for each deliverable;
  • Work closely with the team to ensure they focus on the right priorities throughout production;
  • Collaborate with external vendors;
  • Assist in preparing documents, plans, and progress reports.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in video game design and having delivered or contributed to at least 2 games on a major console or PC;
  • Good understanding of all aspects of game development;
  • Experience using Agile development tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.);
  • Ability to plan and track multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Know how to identify and escalate potential risks if necessary;
  • Good team management skills and coordination of different groups/sectors and activities;
  • Experience working with external vendors is an asset;
  • Good communication skills in English and French (spoken and written).

Salary Estimate: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
