Job Description:

  1. We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations at our retail store.
  2. This role will act as a Sales Associate when not supporting the Store Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly manner.
  • Protect donated items' integrity.
  • Accurately complete customer transactions.
  • Contribute to meeting sales targets by maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Open and close the store following established procedures.
  • Process donations by loading/unloading, sorting, pricing, and storing them.
  • Maintain knowledge of stock to respond to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor store security and activity.
  • Handle merchandise safely and organize it effectively.
  • Assist with inventory control by receiving, sorting, and pricing items.
  • Help with store layout plans to attract customers.
  • Replenish inventory levels based on supervisor's directions.
  • Remove inventory from the sales floor as directed.
  • Maintain the proper sorting and processing of donated goods.
  • Maintain an attractive and organized store appearance.
  • Abide by store policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation (cycle counting).
  • Provide excellent service to guests and donors.
  • Act as a Team Lead/Working Supervisor for Store Associates in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • May show others how to perform certain procedures.
