We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority as a Nurse Consultant in the MS Clinic. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the MS Clinic
- Develop and implement evidence-based nursing practices and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients with complex needs
- Provide education and training to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Three years' recent related clinical nursing experience in a supervisory/leadership/teaching role
- Completion of applicable Canadian Nursing Association (CNA) certificate in the designated clinical area and/or completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
