Job Description

The successful candidate will assist in drafting contracts and other legal documents, coordinate key governance reporting to senior management, and liaise with legal teams in subsidiaries across all countries. They will also conduct legal research and analysis of routine legal matters, including issues specific to marketing/advertising as it applies to the travel insurance and assistance services businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the drafting of contracts and other legal documents
  • Coordinate key governance reporting to senior management
  • Liaise with legal teams in subsidiaries across all countries
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of routine legal matters

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing of a provincial/territorial law society
  • 0-5 years legal experience, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian business and contract law
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
