Senior Technology Advocate

As a member of our dynamic team at IBM TechXchange, you'll be supporting our strategic User Groups. Your role will be to foster a thriving user group community through strategic events, refine and optimize our approach to elevate user group participation, and drive deeper community connections.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster a thriving user group community through strategic events such as meetups, conferences, and webinars.
- Continuously refine and optimize the approach to elevate user group participation and drive deeper community connections.
- Empower and support user group leaders, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
- Partner with the User Advocacy Program Evangelist to craft compelling content that showcases the success of user groups and drives excitement for upcoming events.
- Monitor key performance indicators, providing regular reports on program success and areas for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Prior experience in an advocacy role (client advocate, developer relations, user advocacy, program evangelist, community manager) within technology.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire, with experience in managing and growing communities.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse audiences, including senior executives.
- Strong project management abilities, with a disciplined approach to achieving goals.
- Established connections within the tech community and advocacy domain.
