Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Yatin's Kitchen Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability and initiative, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
