Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Rapid Ground Xpress is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials within our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Compile and prioritize orders received from customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels, tracking stock movements and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with production units, warehouse teams, and other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, shipping activity, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Ability to operate radio equipment and dispatching systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Working Conditions:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
