Our Ideal CandidateWe are seeking a highly motivated and driven Civil Engineer-in-Training with a background or interest in municipal infrastructure, land development, bridges, and/or roads to join our team in Terrace, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design of water, sewer, drainage, municipal transportation infrastructure, bridges, roads, and large-scale civil projects.
- Field engineering during the construction of projects ranging from small to large.
- Support with the development of estimates of project costs, analysis and calculations, designs, preparation of reports, proposals, and contract documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (other disciplines encouraged to apply if practicing Civil Engineering).
- Must be eligible to register as an EIT with EGBC in the province of British Columbia.
- 0-4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
- Field experience in materials testing (soils, concrete, asphalt), survey engineering field reviews, or contract administration is considered an asset.
- Experience in bridge structural design, bridge/culvert hydrology or hydraulics is also considered an asset.
- Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

What We Offer- Competitive base salary of $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually based on skills and experience.
