Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in Terrace, BC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering civil and structural projects, including road, bridge, and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop civil and structural projects, including road, bridge, and infrastructure development
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets
- Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations
- Perform/supervise field inspections and assessments
- Prepare technical memorandums, reports, and studies
- Provide technical guidance to EITs and designers to deliver preliminary to detailed design drawings and specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural and registered, or eligible to register, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in the natural resource sector with experience in road, bridge, and access infrastructure
- Proven experience and demonstrated understanding of delivering projects on schedule, on budget, in scope, and at the required quality and achieving client satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written)
- Proven ability to interact with clients and to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
- Competitive salary between $100,000.00 and $130,000.00 per year depending on skills and experience
