Job Title: Student Supervisor (Academic Support)

At Eastern Townships School Board, we are seeking a responsible and caring individual to fill the role of Student Supervisor. This position involves providing support to students in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during school hours, including recess and lunch periods, to maintain order and ensure their safety.
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment by locking and unlocking rooms, gates, and assigning lockers.
  • Participate in monitoring student absences, collecting absence lists, and notifying parents when necessary.
  • Perform first aid as required and administer basic medical care.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to plan and implement student activities that promote socialization and academic growth.
Requirements:
  • A secondary school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Successful completion of a standard first aid course and a refresher course is required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to supporting the educational goals of our students.

Compensation:
