About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Management Professional to join our Global Banking and Advisory team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for centralizing all topics related to credit risk management under our perimeter.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessing counterparty risk related to credit risk, replacement risk, and delivery risk on behalf of all GBIS PCRUS excluding PRIV.
  2. Contributing to regulatory reports (GRR, etc.).
  3. Contributing to prepare main Group committees to monitor credit risk: CORISQ, CGR, Concentration Committee.
  4. Monitoring CORISQ limits for GLBA portfolio.
  5. Monitoring validation process of credit files, Group Limits, and rating of counterparties.
  6. Developing and monitoring of some regulatory models to measure credit risk.
  7. Keeping watch on Basle regulation with respect to GLBA activities.
  8. Assisting CPM analysts in the region with the processing and regularizing of credit applications.
  9. Assisting with the preparation of reports for portfolio monitoring including limit overshoots, obligor risk ratings dashboard, annual review deadlines, covenant compliance, etc.
  10. Assisting with the closing of loan and derivative transactions.
  11. Participating in innovation projects.
  12. Assisting in the preparation of KPI reports for the portfolio managed by CPM.
  13. Assisting with the monitoring of controls within the department.
  14. Reconciling internal systems to ensure accuracy of exposure data.
  15. Participating in ad-hoc projects requested by CPM Regional Head.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Accounting/Economics.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office. Good communication and presentation skills. You are knowledgeable in financial statement analysis. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.).
