About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Determine customer needs and initiate referrals to BMO colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Support customer requests for banking services, including handling transactions and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers by welcoming them warmly and meeting their banking service and transactional needs with precision.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to make banking with BMO easy, simple, and fast.
  • Review customer profiles to identify potential opportunities and engage customers in a needs-based conversation to address everyday banking plans and credit card needs.
  • Contribute to meeting branch business results and the customer experience by actively participating in operational activities.
  • Manage, load, and reconcile cash transactions between treasury and various branch units to maintain accurate records.
  • Execute routine tasks within relevant service level agreements, ensuring timely completion and quality.
  • Maintain a collaborative and versatile approach as part of a dynamic branch and market team.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve the overall branch customer experience through creative approaches and initiatives.
Requirements
  • No prior experience necessary; post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable.
  • High-level knowledge of personal, commercial, and partner offers, and how each can best serve customers' individual needs.
  • Confident and experienced in using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications to enhance customer interactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers, and a passion for delivering a personal experience.
  • Aptitude for listening, solving problems, and responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges.
  • Basic knowledge learned on the job and verbal & written communication skills – basic (in a business environment).
  • Organization skills – basic (in a business environment) and collaboration & team skills – basic (in a business environment).
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $33,850.00 - $43,500.00 per year. Our total compensation package includes performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards.
