Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Strategic Operations team at Mary Brown Brooklin. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Allocate Resources: Manage the allocation of material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs effectively.
  • Organizational Development: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring optimal structure and performance.
  • Policies and Programs: Establish objectives for the organization, formulate or approve policies and programs, and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Staff Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
  • Event Management: Manage events that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure the team's productivity and efficiency.
Supervision:
  • Team Size: Oversee a team of more than 20 people, including contractors.
Experience:
  • Duration: Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Employment Type: Permanent employment.
  • Work Hours: Work 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Language: Fluent in English (native or near-native level).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with organizational development principles and practices.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
