About the Role

PCL Constructors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at our North American Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta.

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing reporting and analytical content using data from PCL's business applications. You will work closely with our Business Technology group's EIS team to enable measurable and material business outcomes using data.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business needs into actionable insights by designing, developing, and maintaining production reports and dashboards
  • Acquire and integrate data from various structured and unstructured data sources
  • Design and develop business data models to support self-service BI and analytics
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data management, and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and relational database design and implementation techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and data-analysis skills
