Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Douglas. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced educators in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support with daily routines, including meal preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Assist with record-keeping and submitting written observations on children to educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records are required.
