We are seeking an Environmental Consultant in Whitehorse, Yukon to join our team of experts in environmental engineering and geosciences.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior technical experts and professionals, collaborating across regions and groups to provide high-quality solutions for our clients.

This role involves 50% field work and 50% office work, supporting the growth of our office while working on projects locally in the Yukon, NWT, and northern B.C., as well as providing support across Canada and internationally where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review historical data and conduct site inspections
  • Monitor and sample groundwater
  • Conduct hydraulic conductivity testing
  • Surface soil and water sampling
  • Soil vapour sampling
  • Supervise drilling activities

Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree from a relevant program; eligibility for professional designation considered an asset
  • Technical skills in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) including groundwater monitoring and sampling techniques
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in project execution, contractor supervision, and project coordination
  • Experience working in the north and mining sector preferred
