The successful candidate will work closely with senior technical experts and professionals, collaborating across regions and groups to provide high-quality solutions for our clients.
This role involves 50% field work and 50% office work, supporting the growth of our office while working on projects locally in the Yukon, NWT, and northern B.C., as well as providing support across Canada and internationally where needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Review historical data and conduct site inspections
- Monitor and sample groundwater
- Conduct hydraulic conductivity testing
- Surface soil and water sampling
- Soil vapour sampling
- Supervise drilling activities
- Install groundwater monitoring wells
- Supervise remedial excavations
- Document site activities through photography and written reports
- Communicate with on-site personnel and Project Manager
- Assist in client communication and relationship-building
- Promote Health and Safety programs and culture
- Work on various major projects for internal and external clients

- Technical skills in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) including groundwater monitoring and sampling techniques
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in project execution, contractor supervision, and project coordination
- Experience working in the north and mining sector preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage time effectively
- Capable of understanding and applying prescribed safety and technical protocols
- Willing to undertake field work year-round and travel throughout Northern and Western Canada
Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $115,000
