Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

Our client, a leader in loan servicing, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join their team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the company's technical infrastructure, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain the infrastructure architecture blueprint to support business growth and deliver the lowest possible total cost of ownership (TCO).
  2. Manage the infrastructure architecture knowledge base, including inventory, schematics, migration paths, and systems management principles.
  3. Provide high-level solution design, cost estimates, and recommendations for new technology implementations and changes to existing technology.
  4. Participate in project work and day-to-day IT operations initiatives to ensure consistent application of infrastructure architecture recommendations.
  5. Research and provide decision papers to substantiate technology decisions.
  6. Provide third-level support for significant technology changes and production issues.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and practices through research and attendance at industry conferences.
Requirements:
  1. At least 10 years of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting technical infrastructure in a large-scale enterprise.
  2. In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in implementing large-scale multi-tiered architecture and ongoing monitoring, support, and maintenance.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work with and mentor other IT technical staff.
  4. Well-developed presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to focus on long-term plans while providing recommendations and design for near-term deliverables.
  6. Ability to manage time and priorities across several initiatives.
  7. Formal computer technology training and relevant industrial certification and accreditation.
  8. Experience with key data processing environments, including IBM mainframe, UNIX, J2EE, IBM WAS, DB2, WIN OS, .NET, SQL Server, and FileNet.
