The Role of our Deputy Shop Managers

As a Deputy Shop Manager, you will be a commercially aware and results-driven individual who can motivate and lead a team to achieve outstanding results. You will be responsible for creating a safe and energised work environment, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.

You will have a strong drive to achieve results, be accountable for your business, and be comfortable working in a volunteer-led environment. You will be an excellent communicator, creative, and always looking for opportunities to attract new supporters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of a successful, inclusive and diverse team.
  • Drive commercial awareness and effective retail processes.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues, provide excellent customer service, and engage with local community and other civil society organisations.
  • Demonstrate resilience to everyday pressures and manage conflicting demands.
  • Monitor budgets and maintain the shop's administrative systems.
