Job Title: Plastering Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plastering Specialist to join our team at Western Canada Stucco. As a Plastering Specialist, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plastering
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in various locations
  • Flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills
