Join Our Board of Directors

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors at The Children's Services. As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization and contributing to the well-being of children and families in our community.

About the Role

As a Trustee/Non-Executive Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our organization. You will work closely with our Chief Executive, Rachel Aylmer, and other Board members to ensure the effective governance and management of our charity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization
  • Contribute to the development of our charity's vision and mission
  • Support the Chief Executive in the implementation of our strategy
  • Ensure the effective governance and management of our charity
  • Represent the organization at external events and meetings
Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a strong track record of governance experience, preferably in the charity or social enterprise sector. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
