About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Forest Nursery Worker to join our team at PRT Summerland Nursery in Summerland, BC. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in the growth and development of tree seedlings for reforestation across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sowing, thinning, and transplanting of tree seedlings
  • Assisting with nursery responsibilities under the supervision of the Nursery Lead
  • Working independently and efficiently to meet production targets
  • Participating in a safe and supportive team environment
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation
  • Appropriate work attire
  • Good manual dexterity and eyesight
  • Team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
  • Commitment to quality and safety
