Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at OM SARNIA INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, dependability, and positive attitude.
