We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Team Lead to join our team at Copperpenny Distilling. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our tasting lounge, including bartending, maintaining high standards of service and operations, and creating prep lists following our established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the bar team in the daily operations of the tasting lounge, including bartending and maintaining high standards of service and operations.
- Create prep lists following our established guidelines and par guides.
- In the absence of a manager, lead the team to complete downtime tasks, make shift cuts, and act as a Manager on Duty.
- Support the bar team in collecting and refining recipes for seasonal menus alongside the Cocktail Director and Venue Manager.
- Manage bar inventory and perform weekly ordering.
- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a regular schedule of 4-5 days per week and 35-40 hours per week.
- At least 4 years of experience as a bartender working with premium spirits and creating cocktail recipes.
- Experience with managing bar inventory and performing weekly ordering.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A passion for quality local products and a commitment to promoting the home of our grain-to-glass distillery.
