Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Sandhu Express Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Cargo Handling: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and handling hazardous materials.
- Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
- Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 50 hours per week.
