We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join our team at Island Health, a leading healthcare provider in British Columbia. As a Cardiologist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing cardiovascular medicine.

About the Role

This is a permanent specialty position at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to the development of our Heart Health Division.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the coronary care unit, cardiology wards, and cardiology consultation service
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in academic and research activities through the University of British Columbia, Island Medical Program
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Cardiology. Experience in women's health, adult congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology, or cardiac rehabilitation is an asset.
