Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Coquihalla Town Pantry & Triple O. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of food quantities used and restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player attitude.
