Lead Analyst, Financial Planning

At Liberty Utilities, we're seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning department, you'll play a critical role in supporting business unit leaders and senior management in strategic and tactical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of analysts and support business unit leaders in financial planning and analysis
  • Develop and maintain corporate and regulated utility financial models and decision tools
  • Collaborate with treasury, tax, accounting, and business unit FP&A teams to align planning assumptions
  • Prepare presentations for the board of directors, senior management, and stakeholders
  • Extract relevant data from planning systems and develop reports and dashboards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • ~5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, with relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Robust understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts and principles
  • CPA/CFA/MBA or other relevant financial designations are strong assets
