Clinical Oncology Nurse
At PHSA, we are committed to providing comprehensive cancer care to the people of British Columbia. As a Clinical Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including assessment, intervention, and symptom management.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as required by the care plan.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including nursing assessments, telephone communications, and care evaluations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR (Level C) certification.
- One (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
