Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Computing Engineer to join our cross-disciplinary R&D team working on the emerging boundary of scientific computing and machine learning/AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge algorithms and techniques in deep learning/AI, including LLMs, graph neural networks, transformer architectures, CNNs, reinforcement learning, representation learning, transfer learning, etc.
  • Design and develop high-performance computational software using Python and C++ programming languages.
  • Collaborate with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow to develop and deploy AI models.
  • Reduce complex algorithms and theoretical knowledge to practical implementation.
  • Work with physical-level scientific computation, including computational electromagnetics, thermal analysis, electrical circuit simulation, photonic systems.
  • Apply statistical inference techniques, including significance testing, Monte Carlo methods, random sampling, density estimation, design of experiments, Bayesian statistics.
  • Stay up-to-date with recent research trends in physics-informed machine learning, including physics-informed neural networks, neural operator theory, DeepONets.
  • Apply optimization algorithms to improve model performance.
