We are a reputable transportation company seeking an experienced Freight Haulage Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across Canada and the US.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 per year
Job Description:
Our ideal candidate is a skilled driver with a minimum of 2 years' experience in freight transportation. You will be required to operate a commercial truck, perform routine inspections and maintenance, and follow all traffic laws and regulations. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
- Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record and CVOR.
- Proven minimum 2-year experience in freight transportation and commercial driving.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
