We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management and Analytics Expert to join our team at SCHOOL BOARDS' CO-OPERATIVE INC. as a Manager, Data Management.

Job Description

This is a hybrid role that includes duties of the Manager of Data Management, as well as duties of the Bilingual Data Administrator. Reporting to the Chief Data and Information Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of Data Administrators and Clerks who collect, complete, accurate and secure WSIB/H&S and Attendance Support data.

You will lead a team to ensure complete, accurate and reliable data is collected and managed. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations, budget, and personnel within the DM Department.
  • Developing and implementing data management processes, policies and procedures to ensure the highest data quality and security standards.
  • Maintaining data management processes for improvements, ensuring effective and efficient data management.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Data Administration: Verifying data accuracy, completeness, and currency, monitoring and analyzing data quality, resolving data discrepancies, and performing screening and cleaning of data sets.
  • Reports/Customer Service/Training: Extracting and distributing routine reports, responding to ad hoc report requests, providing software training, and offering customer service.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum Post-Secondary College/University Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in data analysis, data processing, reporting or related experience.
  • Ability to lead others and mentor staff, work collaboratively with all levels of the organization, and maintain positive working relationships.

You must be able to communicate professionally, have superior problem-solving skills, and possess a strategic mindset. You will also have advanced Excel skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to review processes and workflow to improve efficiency.

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
